Augustana Baseball
Augustana Fall Baseball League Rules and Information- 5th-6th

Rules:

• All players will hit in the lineup.
• Defensive substitutions are allowed at any time.
• No bases will be awarded for those hitters that are walked or hit by a pitch. The hitter will continue a new at bat, with a new count, and the runner who made the last out will run for him at first. The catcher and pitcher at that time will not need to be the runner.
• 7 Inning games will have a 2 hour time limit.
• Pitchers may not exceed 25 pitches per inning. One additional run will be awarded to the offensive team if any runners are left on base when the pitch count is reached.
• Pitchers may not exceed 3 innings and or 60 pitches per game.
• No leading off
• No advancing on wild pitches and passed balls
• Runner may lead off after the ball crosses the plate. There be will no stealing
• Courtesy Runners:  A courtesy runner for the catcher may be used if the catcher reaches/is on base with two outs.  Runner should be a player whose turn at-bat will not take place while he/she is on the bases.
  

Info:

• There will be instructional baseball activities (hitting, fielding, base running ect.) 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your scheduled games on Sundays only. Instruction will be provided by Augustana players and coaches.
• All games will be played at Augustana College softball field.
• Check the status of games in case of inclimate weather at 605-274-4049 there will be a message set up on the answering machine.
